Student Wins: National Eisteddfod Champion

This project celebrates one of our proudest moments — a Kanvas & Kraft student winning first place at the National Eisteddfod of South Africa. This achievement highlights the talent, dedication, and creative growth that happens in our studio every day.

What began as a young girl walking into our studio filled with quiet curiosity soon blossomed into a bold artistic journey. Under the gentle guidance of our instructors, she spent months learning techniques, experimenting with colour, and developing her own unique style.

Her artwork was later entered into the National Eisteddfod, where she competed against top young artists from across the country — and she won.
Not just because of her skill, but because her piece carried emotion, confidence, and a voice of her own.
